Case no 5

52 year female c/o vague bachache.

Findings:

  • Evidence of well defined, rounded, enhancing, soft tissue lesion seen in intradural extramedullary compartemnt of spinal canal situated at the level of D12-L1 vertebral level on left side. 
  • It is isointense to spinal cord on T1W and hyperintense on T2W images.
  • Mass effect seen in the form of moderate compression and displacement of spinal cord to right side.
  • No obvious widening of neural foramina seen. 

Diagnosis:
  • Meningioma.

DDs:

  • Nerve sheath tumour.
