Case No 2

3 months baby presenting with partial seizures...

Findings:
  • The most of the neuroparenchyma is replaced by CSF density fluid.
  • Only the part of cingulate cortex and right parieto-occipetal lobe is present.
  • Thalamus and basal ganglia are normal.

Most probable diagnosis:
  • Hydranencephaly.

Differentials:
  • Severe hydrocephalus.
