Case No 7

30 yr female c/o swelling in lateral aspect of shoulder since 4 years.

Findings:

§  Well defined, homogenous, oval lesion seen in subcutaneous region in lateral aspect of upper arm. 
§  It appears hypointense on T1WI and hyperintense on T2WI and FS as well as STIR images and show no obvious enhancement of postcontrast images.
§  Underlying deltoid muscle and humerus appears normal.

DDs given:

§  Benign soft tissue lesion.
§  Possibility includes- Schwannoma /neurofibroma. 

Final diagnosis:

§  On histopathology it came to be dermoid cyst.
